Holiday home Jérôme attaches great importance to the protection of your privacy and personal data. We follow the General Data Protection Regulation (also known as the General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR) for this.

PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

As a service association and partner of local authorities, we ensure that we only process your data if we have a valid legal basis for this.
In principle, we only process personal data in the context of a legal assignment (eg neighborhood work and social economy), after you permission (eg newsletters,…) or based on a contractual commitment (e.g. renovation supervision, employment contract, accounting, etc.).

Holiday home Jérôme finds appropriate administrative , technical and physical security measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, use, loss or disclosure.

WHAT RIGHTS DO YOU HAVE?

The GDPR also ensures that you have a number of rights when processing personal data.

  • You can view your data.
You have the right to view your personal data and the purposes for which we process them. For this we do ask for proof of your identity, so that we can be sure that we show your personal data to the right person.
  • You can have your data corrected.
Have you noticed that Holiday Home Jérôme has incorrect or incomplete personal data about you? You always have the right to have them corrected or supplemented to the extent permitted by law.
  • You can have your data deleted.
You can always ask to have data that Holiday home Jérôme keeps deleted, insofar as this is permitted by law. We are often also legally obliged to keep data for a certain period of time (selection lists of the General Archives).
  • You can object to certain use of data.
Do you disagree with the way in which the Holiday Home determined Jérôme
processed data, you can object to this. Resist that we
will comply unless there are legal or compelling reasons to do so
    impossible.
  • You can oppose automatic profiling.
Holiday home Jérôme does not use profiling based on automatic processing.
  • You can request to transfer your data to a third party.
You have the right to request that personal data that you have provided to Holiday Home Jérôme be transferred to you or directly to a third party. Privacy legislation does provide a number of restrictions on this right, so that it does not apply to all data.

HOW CAN YOU EXERCISE THESE RIGHTS?

Holiday home Jérôme has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO). This person monitors the application of the legal obligations regarding data protection and can address you if you have questions about the processing of your personal data.

We will send you an answer as soon as possible: no later than 30 days after we have received your request and proof of your identity. Using your rights normally costs you nothing. If your question is excessive or if you often ask the same question, Holiday Home Jérôme can still request a fee or refuse your request.

For additional information about the processing of personal data, you can visit the website of the Data Protection Authority (https://www.gegevensbeschermingautoriteit.be/).

SHARE WITH THIRD PARTIES

In the case of collaboration with external parties involving data processing of personal data, both boards make agreements about the requirements that the data exchange must meet. Go to the overview of our protocols and permissions (click here) to consult them.

For the processing of personal data, we work together with various software suppliers. We make strict agreements with all these processors to ensure that they have the same security requirements as our board.
